He never expected this! The old man woke up on a beautiful thursday morning expecting it to be a regular work day but little did he know, that his world as he knew it was about to come down.
The old man worked in a shoe factory not to far from his apartment. The year is 1934 and things could not have been more amazing for the old man. He loved his job dearly. The old man's name was John.
John loved his daily routine. He would wake up and read the comic section in the Good morning post while sipping on his coffee. Then he would turn on the television just to fuss about how the world is 'doomed and nothing good will ever come out of it'.
On his way to work, he would always run into Mason, who was much younger than him. John considers them friends. John would go on and on about how "women were trouble and how he should stay away from them all.
Mason would nonchalantly respond as he would slowly and progressively try to get away from John. Unfortunately they caught the same bus and worked the same shift. Mason was learning to deal with him.
At work John, was most definitely known. He loved to crack jokes at his co-workers.
